About the St. John Paul II Society

We are a spiritual society that exists to honor a beloved pope, Saint John Paul II, and seek his heavenly intercession.

Since his death, the intercession of St. John Paul has contributed to the miraculous healing of Sr. Marie Simon Pierre of Parkinson’s Disease and Floribeth Mora Diaz of a brain aneurism. Many more answers to prayer have been attributed to the sainted pope, and it is our conviction that God will continue to use him as an instrument of grace for those who seek his intercession.

The Society maintains a shrine of Saint John Paul II in the beautiful church of St. Vincent Ferrer in New York City. There, a first class relic—a piece of Holy Father’s sash soaked with his blood during the assassination attempt of 1981—is on display for veneration.

The Society is under the care of the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph, men committed to preaching the Gospel for the salvation of souls in the spirit of St. John Paul II.

Members of the St. John Paul II Society are remembered in the prayers and Masses of the Dominican Friars throughout the Province of Saint Joseph and in a special way at the Society’s shrine. To become a member, simply make an offering in any amount ($10 suggested minimum) using the secure form below:
