Five First Saturdays Devotion

Our Blessed Mother said:
Look, my daughter, at my Heart encircled by these thorns with which men pierce it at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. You, at least, strive to console me, and so I announce: I promise to assist at the hour of death with the grace necessary for salvation all those who, with the intention of making reparation to me, will, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to confession, receive Holy Communion, say five decades of the beads, and keep me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary.
All members of the St. John Paul II Society are encouraged to undertake this devotion, especially during this 100th anniversary year. These five Saturdays simply need to be done once in your lifetime and our Lady will assist you at your hour of death with the grace necessary for salvation. That is pretty amazing. Here is how to make this devotion:

On the First Saturday of Five Consecutive Months, do the following with the intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary:

  1. Make a Sacramental Confession (This can be done within 8 days of the 1st Saturday)
  2. Pray the Rosary (5 decades)
  3. Receive Holy Communion
  4. Keep Our Lady company for 15 minutes while meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary

We especially encourage all who are able to make at least one of these Saturday devotions at St. Vincent Ferrer church, home of the shrine of the St. John Paul II Society. Saturday mass is offered at St. Vincent Ferrer Church at 8:00AM.
